Return Policy

The Mom Capsule will accept your returns of unworn, unwashed, undamaged or defective merchandise purchased on our site for a refund within 15 days of original purchase.

Please Note: All returns must be re-sellable by The Mom Capsule except when items are defective. Any reduced-price items or merchandise marked "Final Sale", "Flash Sales" OR "Sale" cannot be returned or exchanged. All accessories (jewelry, tote bags, scarves, etc.) are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange. Gift certificates are FINAL SALE. Free gifts are not eligible for return or exchange. Items purchased with coupon codes are eligible for return if it meets the return criteria.

When returning 1-2-3 looks ALL pieces in that 1-2-3 MUST be returned. In select cases, 1-2-3 items may be exchanged at The Mom Capsule's discretion.

We want you to LOVE your Mom Capsule goods, and in order for us to make sure you are satisfied, here are the steps on how to return or exchange your items. We offer 2 options to return your items. Please review the options below and then contact us to process your return.


Send us an email to process your return (email instructions below) and we’ll provide you with a FREE shipping label sent to your email. You’ll package your unworn goods and ship it back to us. Once your return has been received, inspected, and approved, we will then issue you a FULL refund of STORE CREDIT ONLY for the order amount excluding any previous shipping costs, fees, duties, or taxes.


If for some reason, you just don't love your new purchase and want to return it, you can either coordinate a local drop-off with us or we can send you our return form to fill out and include in your return shipment back to The Mom Capsule. You may return using the shipping method of your choice, at your expense. We suggest using a trackable service. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Once we receive your return (per our return policy above), we will process a refund for the cost of the returned item and send you an email. Refunds will be automatically credited via your original method of payment & processed within approximately 7 to 10 business days after we receive your return. Original shipping charges, fees, duties or taxes are non-refundable.


Send us an email at with the following:

  • “Return” and your order number in the subject line (You can find your order number on the upper right hand corner of your packing slip or in your order confirmation email)
  • Your reason for return. For example: if you not satisfied because of the size (too big or too small), the color, it’s damaged, need to exchange one piece from a 1-2-3, etc
NOTE: If you purchased a 1-2-3 look and one piece doesn't fit properly, we'll do everything we can to accommodate the exchange for a different size in that item. Please let us know ASAP and we can check inventory to see if we can process your exchange. If we're able to make the exchange based on inventory, we will ask you to ship back the one item. You will be responsible for the return shipping charges. Once we've received and inspected the returned product, we will then send out the replacement piece with no shipping charges or extra costs to you.
  • Local Mamas: We want to make your life simple! If you live local to The Mom Capsule (we are based in Ventura, California) we can do Local Drop-Off Returns and Exchanges. Easy as that! All you have to do is email us and we can organize a time/date for you to either drop-off your products or come try on a new size.
